Andhra Pradesh CM Meeting with Film Personalities Called Off for Now

The meeting of prominent Telugu film industry personalities with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was scheduled for Sunday. The news is that the same stands cancelled for now.

“The scheduled meeting has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon,” an official statement said.

The meeting was billed to see the attendance of several prominent actors and producers. The rescheduled meeting is meant to be the first formal interaction between Tollywood’s representatives and the CM.

In May, following a theatre shutdown call by some exhibitors, Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan remarked that nobody from Tollywood had called on the AP CM despite his one-time suggestion.

Meanwhile, the who’s who of the industry are today attending the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards event in Hyderabad. Among those who are present are Icon Star Allu Arjun and Nandamuri Balakrishna. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy graced the maiden edition of the state awards.
