Alia Bhatt Is ‘counting Days’ Till Aryan Khan’s Directorial Debut With The Ba***ds of Bollywood

Alia Bhatt recently took to social media to laud Aryan Khan’s directorial debut. For those unaware, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan is making his debut as a director with the highly-anticipated OTT series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Many Bollywood stars have congratulated Aryan. Now Alia took to her Instagram to share her admiration for the upcoming series.

The Jigra actress said, “Literally counting days till this one drops. Cannot wait!!!” She shared the trailer while congratulating the makers, including Aryan. At the centre of the story is Aasmaan Singh, played by Lakshya. He is a young dreamer who dares to believe he can conquer the film industry. Supporting him on this journey are his witty best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), his sharp manager Sanya (Anya Singh) and his family, uncle Avtar (Manoj Pahwa), mother Neeta (Mona Singh) and father Rajat (Vijayant Kohli).

The series also stars Bobby Deol as Ajay Talvar, Sahher Bambba as Ajay’s daughter Karishma, Manish Chaudhari as Freddy Sodawallah and Rajat Bedi as Jaraj Saxena. The glimpses also promise cameos from Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, SS Rajamouli, Badshah, Disha Patani and more.

During the preview event for the series, Aryan shared that he has been nervous about the series. “If something goes wrong, please forgive me. This is my first time. I am very nervous today because this is the first time for me. I have done all the preparations, though. If anything goes wrong in my speech today, I have got it written on a piece of paper, and if that goes wrong, I have my father (SRK) as the backup. And even after all of this, if something goes wrong, please forgive me. This is my first time.”

Interestingly, The Ba***ds of Bollywood is set to premiere on September 18. It will stream globally on Netflix.
