Good Bad Ugly Movie Review, Rating and Release Live Updates: The time has arrived for the worldwide release of director Adhik Ravichandran’s much-anticipated action comedy Good Bad Ugly, featuring the beloved on-screen couple Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, and Tamil cinema lovers are already struggling to contain their excitement. With its official trailer highlighting that the movie will offer the experience of a lifetime, with a no-holds-barred Ajith Kumar at the centre, the Good Bad Ugly fever has already gripped Tamil Nadu and is rapidly spreading to other regions.
Since Ajith’s last movie, Magizh Thirumeni’s Vidaamuyarchi, underperformed at the box office despite receiving good reviews, his fans are all prepped to ensure that Good Bad Ugly turns into a momentous hit. Interestingly, the film’s makers have opted not to schedule early morning screenings anywhere and the first-day first-show (FDFS) of the Ajith-starrer will commence between 8 am and 9 am on Thursday, in accordance with the existing rules in Tamil Nadu, which mandate premiere shows to begin by 9 am.
The movie’s pre-sales have also been strong so far and it has already recorded a gross collection of Rs 15 crore on the opening day in the home state alone, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. Meanwhile, the figure is inching closer to the Rs 18 crore mark in India, highlighting that the film will get a grand opening in the rest of the country as well. The opening weekend collection of the movie has already breached the Rs 35 crore gross mark, with Rs 28 crore from Tamil Nadu alone, underscoring that Good Bad Ugly will be able to leverage the four-day opening weekend window. Sacnilk has also forecasted that the movie’s gross opening in Tamil Nadu is likely to cross the Rs 30 crore mark, giving it a big push at the box office.
Helmed by Adhik Ravichandran, known for his work in Mark Antony (2023), Good Bad Ugly is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, who rose to fame by bankrolling the Pushpa movies. Also starring Prabhu, Arjun Das, Prasanna, Sunil, Usha Uthup and Rahul Dev, Good Bad Ugly is Ajith’s 63rd movie.
