AI Pro Plan Gets 3 Daily Video Generations With Veo 3 Fast

Google is reportedly being generous to those subscribed to the AI Pro plan by offering three video generations per day using Veo 3 Fast. As you may know, Google has baked in some of the best and latest AI features and tools behind a paywall. You must subscribe to either the AI Pro plan or the expensive AI Ultra plan. For those with the Google Pixel 9 series, the AI Pro plan for a year comes as a freebie, which also means you’re eligible for three daily video generations using Veo 3 Fast, without paying a dime.

AI Pro plan offers three Veo 3 Fast video generations per day—effectively free for Google Pixel 9 users

Well, don’t worry if you don’t own a Pixel series phone. Google is currently offering AI Pro at a discounted $20/month subscription. For the uninitiated, Veo 3 Fast is the new model that powers the Gemini app and processes video generation two times faster. That, too, while maintaining the same 720p resolution. 

The announcement, first spotted by 9to5Google, came from Josh Woodward, the VP of Google Labs and Gemini. Per the announcement, AI Pro subscribers can generate three videos per day with the new Veo 3 Fast model. 

Woodward also notes that Flow Pro subscribers can create videos using Veo 3 Fast by spending 20 credits per generation. Google’s AI Pro plan (which is free for a year for Pixel 9 users) currently offers 1,000 monthly credits. So, that’s equivalent to 50 video generations. Since these credits work across a variety of AI tools, we recommend spending them wisely. 

Switch to older, Veo 2 to limit credit spending

If you’ve the latest Google Pixel phones but want to limit credit spending, you can switch to Veo 2. However, switching to Veo 2 means a change in video quality and no support for audio. If you are an AI Ultra plan subscriber, there are no changes whatsoever. You can continue using the latest ad best AI tools and features without any limitations. 

In addition to Veo 3 Fast access via the free AI Pro plan, Pixel 9 users can also get access to other useful AI tools and perks. This includes Whisk, NotebookLM, and 2TB storage space. If you are a Pixel 9 user but haven’t tried any of these features, we recommend trying all of them.
