The debate around Ozempic refuses to die down, as many celebrities are alleged to have reduced weight drastically with the help of the medicine. Recently, the same debate was reignited after comedian Kapil Sharma’s latest video at the Mumbai airport went viral. In the clip, the comedian looks much slimmer, and his drastic weight loss left fans worried.
In the clip, Kapil is seen dressed in a comfortable athleisure outfit. He paired his look with black glares and white and grey shoes. The actor-comedian posed for the paparazzi at the airport. Fans couldn’t help but notice his weight loss. A fan wrote, “Kitna zyada weight loss kar liya hai Kapil Sharma ne (He has reduced a lot of weight).” Some even questioned Kapil’s health. “He looks unwell,” a comment read. Fans even compared Kapil’s weight loss to that of filmmaker Karan Johar. “A new trend is going on in Bollywood, everyone is becoming so thin, first Karan Johar and now him.”
Earlier, fans had a similar reaction when Karan Johar posted a mirror selfie flaunting his weight loss. However, during an interaction with India Today Digital last month, Karan clarified claims of taking Ozempic and said, “Being healthy, eating right, exercising, doing your best to look good—that’s what it’s about.” Television actor Ram Kapoor also recently made headlines for his drastic weight loss; he too rubbished rumours of taking Ozempic.
On the professional front, Kapil recently announced his next film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2. It is the sequel to his 2015 film of the same name. He will reprise his role from the original film, which was directed by Abbas-Mustan. Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, however, is helmed by Anukalp Goswami, who was the writer of the original film and had also written Kapil Sharma’s popular TV show The Kapil Sharma Show.
