Bollywood actor and former parliamentarian Paresh Rawal has claimed that he drank urine like beer when he was sick a few years ago. He was admitted to a multi-specialty hospital in Mumbai a few years ago. During his hospitalization, Ajay Devgn’s father, Veeru Devgn, visited him and gave him the rare piece of advice.
Veeru asked Paresh Rawal to save his health by drinking his own first urine of the day. Paresh followed it diligently and, within a fortnight, he was apparently cured of his ailment. “My doctor couldn’t believe seeing my X-Ray report,” Paresh added.
During the urine-drinking phase, Paresh Rawal made sure not to consume alcohol; he also desisted from smoking. It is likely that his ailment was gone because of these two major lifestyle changes and not because he drank urine.
Doctors on social media are aghast. They have advised everyone to ignore the Bollywood actor’s spurious solution. “Eat healthy, exercise, sleep, reduce stress, don’t smoke, don’t drink alcohol, don’t drink your own or anybody’s urine, don’t eat your own or anyone else’s poop. Never thought I will have to tell the last two points. But I guess I have to,” Dr. Deepak Krishnamurthy wrote.
