
The title of actor Ram Charan‘s film upcoming 16th film has been revealed. The announcement was made via a couple of posters, shared online on the occasion of Ram’s birthday. His first look from the film, official titled Peddi, was revealed on his 40th birthday today. Ram took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday to shared two posters of the film. Peddi’s director Buchi Babu Sana also shared the actor’s look while wishing him a happy birthday.
While sharing his first look on social media, Ram Charan wrote, “A FIGHT FOR IDENTITY!! #RC16 is #Peddi. A @BuchiBabuSana film. An @arrahman musical. @NimmaShivanrrna #JanhviKapoor @RathnaveluDop @artkolla @NavinNooli @IamJagguBhai @divyenndu @vriddhicinemas @SukumarWritings @MythriOfficial.” Buchi Babu wrote, “Happy Birthday my Dear @AlwaysRamCharan Sir… In one word you are Gold Sir. In the first look posters, the actor can be seen in an intense and fierce look. He sports a wild beard, messy hair, along with a striking nose ring. Ram is wearing a striped red and blue shirt, while smoking a cigar in the first glimpse. The second poster showcases him holding an old cricket bat with anger in his eyes. The background is an old and rusty village stadium with floodlights.
The poster also revealed that the music has been composed by AR Rahman. Besides Ram Charan, the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. Janhvi Kapoor’s first look from the film was also unveiled on her birthday. Peddi has been written by Buchi Babu Sana and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings under Vriddhi Cinemas banner. Backed by Venkata Satish Kilaru, Peddi is set to go on the floors soon.
