Hours after a video went viral showing four men flaunting bottles of Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), exhorting people to “come and get it”, the Vadodara city police arrested four under the Prohibition Act on Thursday.
The accused have been identified as Kalu Singh Dudhani, Ravi Singh Dudhani, Shamsher Singh Dudhani and Mahendra Singh Bavari — all residents of Vadodara city — who were seen in the video allegedly displaying the IMFL bottles. In the said video, the men are also seen handing over a bottle to a child, who then repeats the dialogue.
A statement issued by Bapod police station on Thursday stated that the four men were arrested from the city after being “tracked down” using technical sources.
The police have also seized the bottles of IMFL, and booked the accused.
