The much-awaited bilingual action-drama Dacoit, featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, has created a buzz nationwide. The film is now scheduled for a grand pan-India theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the auspicious festival of Gudi Padwa and the extended Eid weekend.

The lead actors, Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, have recently revealed a captivating new poster, officially confirming the updated release date. They took to Instagram as they shared the poster with the caption, “There’s No Looking Back! #Dacoit This Ugadi :: Eid :: Gudi Padwa March 19th, 2026, Theatres Worldwide!”  

The romantic action thriller was initially scheduled for release on December 25 on Christmas, but according to reports, the action sequences were postponed after an injury sustained by Adivi Sesh during the filming of an action scene.

This additional time will allow for his recovery and the completion of the shoot, with the film now slated for a worldwide release at the start of next year’s Eid celebrations.

Dacoit is expected to deliver an exhilarating cinematic experience, seamlessly combining dynamic action sequences, genuine emotion, and compelling drama. With the sizzling chemistry between Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, and the presence of Anurag Kashyap in a key role, the film is expected to leave a lasting impression.
