Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga sprung a surprise! When it was least expected, the filmmaker released an audio clip, which he described as the sound story of his upcoming film, starring Prabhas. On the occasion of the superstar’s birthday, Sandeep’s late-night surprise sparked a fan frenzy. “Happy Birthday Prabhas anna Presenting a ‘SOUND-STORY’ in five Indian languages straight from the heart, for every fan who’s felt his,” he posted with fire emoji.

Sound story of Spirit

Prabhas’ birthday has truly turned into a cinematic celebration as fans of the superstar were treated to multiple surprises. But the biggest surprise came from Sandeep Vanga when he released an audio clip which stole the show. The unconventional yet unique audio teaser builds anticipation and captures the gravity of the story giving enough hint of the action thriller. The audio that features the voices of the cast Prabhas and Prakash Raj instantly strikes a chord. It encapsulates with the gripping background score of composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar.

Prabhas plays an IPS officer

Prabhas plays the role of a former IPS officer and academy topper who comes to jail as a remand prisoner. His arrest stems from conduct-related issues and is pitted against an authoritative jail superintendent (Prakash Raj) who runs the show by his own set of rules. He says, “I hate civilian costumes in my compound. It has to be either Khakis or Kadis. And the biggest highpoint comes towards the end when Prabhas delivers a striking dialogue, “I have had just one bad habit since childhood.” The audio arrives in typical Sandeep Reddy Vanga style. It has everything – character reveal, intensity, emotion – with the filmmaker referring to Prabhas as, ‘India’s biggest superstar.’

Fans could experience the thrill in the audio teaser, and felt that it was a perfect way to encapsulate Prabhas’s birthday celebrations. Produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit also features Triptii Dimri, Vivek Oberoi and Kanchana.
