Director SS Rajamouli celebrated his 52nd birthday on Friday (October 10, 2025). The ace filmmaker has been receiving warm wishes from all the top stars in the country. Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan were among the stars from Indian cinema to greet Rajamouli on the special occasion. Several industry colleagues and well-wishers have taken to social media to wish the director.

Helmer of some of the country’s biggest blockbusters like RRR and Baahubali franchise, Rajamouli is celebrating his 52nd birthday. Hailed as one of the top filmmakers in Indian cinema, the celebrated director received a flood of love and warm with several of his heroes extending warm birthday wishes.

The best is yet to come: Mahesh Babu

Superstar Mahesh Babu shared a candid photo of him with Rajamouli and hinted at their upcoming collaboration in SSMB29, an action-adventure film that started production in April 2025. In his birthday note, Mahesh wrote, ‘The best is yet to come’ – the caption sent fans into a frenzy, fuelling excitement. And fans are also wishing the director amid buzz about the film’s title along with rumours of a reveal on November 16. Interestingly, there’s no update about the film but Mahesh shared a candid photo from the film sets.

Emperor of epics: Dharma Productions

Calling Rajamouli one of the greatest filmmakers of his time, Ram Charan too wished the filmmaker a happy birthday. Jr NTR who collaborated with Rajamouli was also among the early ones to wish the director. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions that distributed Baahubali: The Beginning in North India shared BTS moments from the making of the magnum opus. Their post read, “The magician of magnum opuses, the emperor of epics—Happy Birthday, @ssrajamouli!” In another exciting post, the Baahubali team released a BTS video that shows how Rajamouli enacts a scene and shows it to the stars on the sets before calling it ‘action.’
