His Lexus collided with a Bolero that suddenly turned right, causing the unexpected crash. However, the actor had a narrow escape. He took to social media to reassure his fans that he is safe and urged them not to worry about the news. He informed that the car was hit, but everyone is fine. The actor also revealed that he did a strength workout before heading home.

Vijay’s message read, “All is well. Car took a hit, but we are all fine. Went and did a strength workout as well and just got back home. My head hurts but nothing a biriyani and sleep will not fix. So biggest hugs and my love to all of you. Don’t let the news stress you.”
