OG mints Rs 70.75 crore (India)
They Call Him OG made a stellar opening on September 25 by registering Rs 70 crore (net) in India and amassing Rs 20.25 crore net collection from premiere shows. The fan favourite gangster thriller was successfully able to leverage in on the hype surrounding it, and as a result, took bumper openings at the box office. In terms of occupancy the Telugu region registered 69.35% on Thursday and the night shows peaked at 77.51%. While Hindi and Kannada versions had 10.37% and 9.19% occupancy rate, the Tamil version saw 18.36%. With record openings, the Pawan Kalyan-starrer has beaten other big films of 2025 like Coolie (Rs 65 crore), Chhaava (Rs 31 crore) and Saiyaara (Rs 21.5 crore).

North America contributes $3 million
Pawan Kalyan’s OG mania was palpable in North America, particularly in the US. The action thriller collected more than $3 million, the highest for any Pawan Kalyan release in the region. With BookMyShow rating of 9.3, and over 2 lakh booked already, the film is all set to script new records at the US box office. Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya, They Call Him OG features intense action sequences. Pawan Kalyan’s return to the gangster role and Emraan Hashmi’s performance earned praise from critics and audiences.
