After wrapping up a tough outdoor schedule in Ladakh, Salman Khan is now preparing to resume work on his action-drama Battle of Galwan. The actor reportedly sustained minor injuries during the high-intensity shoot, but he managed to continue filming before taking a short break to rest.
The Ladakh schedule was one of the most challenging parts of the production. Temperatures dropped below 10 degrees, and the crew had to deal with difficult terrain and low oxygen levels. Salman, who was on set for 15 days of the 45-day schedule, performed both action-packed sequences and dramatic scenes despite the harsh conditions. His resilience became a talking point among the crew, as he powered through the demanding environment before being advised to pause briefly for recovery.
Now, the film’s second schedule will begin in Mumbai next week. Unlike Ladakh’s raw action setting, the Mumbai leg is expected to focus on the more emotional side of the story. Director Apoorva Lakhia plans to capture scenes that highlight the human cost of conflict, balancing the adrenaline of action with moments of deep emotion.
In July, Salman gave fans the first glimpse of the project through a motion poster. The poster featured him in an intense new look, with a bloodied face, a thick moustache, and eyes filled with determination, set against a backdrop of patriotic tension. The teaser instantly built anticipation for what promises to be one of his most powerful performances.

Battle of Galwan revisits the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley, remembered for its brutal hand-to-hand combat. The film aims to honour the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers who stood their ground during one of the most tense moments in recent history.
