The euphoria surrounding Teja Sajja’s latest release Mirai is getting bigger! After his previous film HanuMan turned out to be a box office rage, the actor has followed it up with a fantasy adventure Mirai that is also doing well at the box office. Meanwhile all eyes are on Teja Sajja’s next film, and the actor is set to headline the sequel to Zombie Reddy.

Bollywood director to helm

Zombie Reddy, starring Teja Sajja and directed by Prashanth Varma, released in February 2021. The film turned out to be a below average outing at the box office. Producer Vishwa Prasad recently announced that he is bankrolling the sequel to Zombie Reddy. Although Prasanth Varma will be the showrunner, the makers haven’t announced the name of the director. But according to the tinsel town reports, Bollywood director Suparn Verma, known for The Family Man and Rana Naidu, is the preferred choice to be at the helm of affairs. This is certainly an interesting choice, given the director’s ability to bring out sharp narrative with raw emotions. With this latest development coming in, we bet you too are as excited as us to witness Teja Sajja’s magical zombie journey on screen once again. With HanuMan and Mirai being loved by one and all, the expectations on Zombie Reddy sequel are certain to soar.

Teja to balance two sequels

Towards the climax of Mirai, filmmakers had hinted at a sequel. Director Karthik Ghattamaneni said that the second instalment of the Teja Sajja-starrer would go on floors soon. But with the actor also taking up the sequel to Zombie Reddy, it looks like Teja may shoot simultaneously for both the adventure films. However, working on the two films would be a catch 22 situation for the actor since both the films demand distinct looks.
