BTS fans are awaiting the comeback of the band. And much to their delight, the group’s leader, Kim Namjoon aka RM, shared an update on their comeback album. The rapper recently celebrated his 31st birthday and held a live session where he interacted with fans and spoke to them about several topics, including BTS’ comeback.

Talking about the pressure of being a BTS member, he said, “Ahhhh, it’s so burdensome!! I mean, imagine you’re BTS! You’re BTS, but you just discharged from the military, it took 3 years, you’re suddenly back, and everyone’s like Wow, they’re gonna come up with something insane, aren’t they? It’s pressuring us too! and we got together and lived together for 2 years- I mean, 2 months, but we’re all the same, we’re the same as we were!”

He continued, “The one thing that still didn’t change, that I still believe. #BTS has something different.. I can’t say it’s better, but there is something different when it comes to a team called #BTS.. I think that’s what made us US, and that’s what made armys – ARMYs, at the same time.”

Teasing the comeback album, he added, “Are you guys really ready for the new #BTS album? I think I am not ready…I think I’m still tripping. We are still recording stuff and I am arranging the lyrics. We set up like a whole new process for the new album, new concepts like…this is NEW BTS after military service in 2026. Next year is gonna be BIG in terms of many things. I hope you guys are still healthy until we can visit your countries. It’s been 6 years since we were on tour, it is crazy.”

RM also shared that they want to focus on their inner voice and by doing that, they want to show the process of them growing as artists. “That’s why we’re preparing a lot of things, so there’s nothing else to do but ask you to wait. I mean, there’s no other way. So, I can’t help but only say “PLEEEEEASE~ wait just a little bit more!”
