BTS’ leader Kim Namjoon, aka RM, is celebrating his 31st birthday today. Fans have flooded social media with wishes for the rapper, and his fellow band members have also joined in. RM took to social media to share glimpses of his celebration. He revealed that he has coloured his hair blonde and posted a photo of a purple cake decorated with toppings and candles. He also shared a mirror selfie with a thank-you note written on it, expressing his gratitude to fans.

The official BTS account also shared a birthday post featuring a creative collage with the rapper’s photos, which he later reposted. His fellow rapper Jung Hoseok (J-Hope) also added to the celebration by sharing unseen pictures of the birthday boy. One image showed RM standing on a beach with his back to the camera, while another captured him sitting at a sea-facing restaurant at the same location.

Namjoon went on to share yet another personal moment with fans. He posted a photo of his hand alongside Jin’s hand. In the picture, he is seen wearing a diamond-studded ring, which he revealed was a birthday gift from Jin. The eldest member of BTS was also seen wearing two diamond bracelets in the photo.

Meanwhile, the rapper also made a considerable donation to hospitals in Seoul. According to Korean media reports, he donated 200 million won to hospitals in Seoul. The contributions, 100 million won each to Asan Medical Centre and Korea University Medical Centre, were given as development funds. Speaking about it, he said, “I decided to donate with the hope of participating in something meaningful on my birthday. I hope this donation can provide even a small help to patients suffering due to economic difficulties despite needing treatment.”
