Homebound’s team made sure their trip to Toronto began on a fun note. Just before their flight, Janhvi Kapoor roped in Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa for a quick dance on her new song Bijuria, with director Neeraj Ghaywan also making a playful cameo. The clip instantly grabbed attention, not only for its energy but also for the nostalgia of seeing Janhvi and Ishaan share the frame again after their debut together in Dhadak back in 2018.

The song they chose has its own history. Bijuria is a refreshed take on Sonu Nigam’s track from over twenty years ago and now serves as the lead number of Janhvi’s upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. In the film, she stars alongside Varun Dhawan, with Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf rounding out the cast. Sharing the dance reel, Janhvi wrote, “Humein laage na nazariya .” Varun was quick to respond with “Soo good ” while Rohit wrote“Hahahaha too good” .

Once in Toronto, the cast continued to keep fans engaged. A video of Janhvi and Vishal enjoying food together started circulating online, adding to the buzz around their film festival appearance. Homebound has already had an impressive journey with its premiere at Cannes earlier this year, and its selection for the Gala Presentations section at the Toronto International Film Festival marks another high point. The release date for India is yet to be revealed, but anticipation around the film continues to build.
