No hike in Mirai ticket prices
At a time when many Tollywood filmmakers are insisting for a hike in ticket prices to recover their budgets quickly, Teja Sajja requested Mirai filmmakers not to hike the ticket prices. The film was made lavishly on a high budget of more than Rs 100 crore, and many expected the filmmakers to apply to the respective governments in the Telugu speaking states to increase the film’s ticket prices. But here’s the twist. “I requested the producers not to hike Mirai ticket prices so that the film would be affordable to everyone. We want everyone to have an immersive experience from the world we have built around Mirai. The entire family can watch Mirai; it’s a blend of devotion, emotion and adventure,” said Teja, speaking at the film’s pre-release event in Vizag on Monday evening. Many on social media are lauding the actor’s gesture commenting it “very inspiring”.

Dared to dream big
With Mirai being the follow up film after HanuMan, Teja Sajja too wanted to live up to the expectations. “While we have had our share of challenges, the makers never dampened spirits. We shot the film with passion and have dared to dream big.” Adding to the excitement, Karan Johar has come on board as the official distribution partner in Hindi, further amplifying the film’s pan-India reach. Mirai is about a fearless warrior chosen to safeguard nine sacred scriptures, setting the stage for an epic battle that fuses heritage with spectacle. And for the first time, Manchu Manoj will be seen as an antagonist, Black Sword in the film. His battle sequences with Teja bring more depth and intensity to the saga.
