BTS’ Golden Maknae Jeon Jungkook is celebrating his 28th birthday. On his special day, his fellow band members Jung Hoseok (J-Hope) and Kim Taehyung (V) shared unseen photos and videos with him on social media. Taehyung posted a short clip on Instagram’s story section where he can be seen sitting across the birthday boy at a restaurant. The video showed Jungkook talking while Tae listened to him adorably. He did not pen a long caption; instead, the Winter Bear singer just wrote, “HBD”. He chose the song Neo Surf by GENER8ION and 070 Shake as a background score to the video:

J-Hope, on the other hand, shared a photo of Jungkook from a restaurant with a glass of drink in front of him.

Meanwhile, Jungkook marked his birthday with a live broadcast on the fan platform Weverse at midnight. He unveiled his new piercing during the session with fans. He also revealed that he accidentally cracked one of his lower teeth against his labret piercing and he ended up swallowing the broken tooth instead of spitting it out.

He said, “Today, when I was eating Poke, while I was chewing, I chewed on this (piercing). I cracked my lower tooth, and it became sharp. Because it broke right here. And I ended up chewing the broken piece of tooth. But since it’s my own tooth anyway, I just chewed and ate it, kinda like I’m eating sand. The piercing has been really annoying me (sic).”

During the same live session, Jungkook also addressed the incident of a woman trying to break into his house. Warning ARMYs against such behaviour, the youngest member of the group said, “Don’t come, please. Don’t come, really. Understand? If you put your foot into the parking lot, you can’t get out. You can’t leave unless I open for you. You’re trapped. There’s CCTV, I’m watching everything. If you don’t want to go to the police station, don’t come.”

BTS members have been in Los Angeles since June to prepare for their Spring 2026 comeback.  All seven members, including RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, were in the USA to share their creative inputs on the tracks and performances of their upcoming comeback. Interestingly, the group will continue with the remaining work on their new album in South Korea.
