Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty today unveiled the trailer of their upcoming series, Do You Wanna Partner. The two actresses have shared the screen for the first time in this show, which is all about sisterhood and women supporting each other. During the event, Tamannaah opened up about women feeling underestimated. She also recalled how her father had been supportive of her and urged the men in the audience to always support the women around them. She said, “I am sure all women in this group, this entire space, at some point in time or the other, have felt underestimated. And that becomes the biggest strength for a woman to use that and turn the tables around. So that is the essential seed of what we did, and I hope you guys watch it and love it.”

The actress further added that she had wonderful men in her life. She continued, “My dad has been the biggest support system for me. Someone just told me that I play such diverse roles and characters and asked me how I can do all that. I have so much support at home from my father, from my brother and such wonderful men in my life. I would like to tell all the men who support the women who are in our homes and around you. You want to be there for them to see them flower. I am in front of you, and I am the proof. I had wonderful men in my life who have been the support system, and I am here because of that.”

Talking of Do You Wanna Partner, the show revolves around two best friends, Shikha (Tamannaah Bhatia) and Anahita (Diana Penty), who take the plunge into the start-up world with one bold idea, launching their own craft beer brand. Shikha has been fired from her job, and Anahita is fed up with working with others. But their entrepreneurial journey is not going to be easy. If trying to make a mark in a man’s world was not difficult enough, they face threats from a gangster and a fraudulent businessman. What follows is a funny, high-energy ride through beer barons, mobsters, and the kind of jugaad they never dreamt of.

Directed by Collin D’Cunha and Archit Kumar, it also stars Jaaved Jaaferi, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Neeraj Kabi, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singha. Do You Wanna Partner will premiere on Prime Video on September 12.
