Indo-Hollywood collaboration!

Connekkt Mobscene has chalked out marketing strategies for films like Avatar, Dune and Fast & Furious among others. In an attempt to further reach out to global audiences, the makers of Allu Arjun-Atlee’s sci-fi film are trying to collaborate with the agency. The team has visited Mumbai for the first time for the initial round of talks with the film unit. The photos and videos of the meeting have sparked buzz for an Indo-Hollywood collaboration. When the film was announced, the makers released a video that shows a glimpse of Allu Arjun and Altee having a discussion and visiting Los Angeles-based Lola Visual Effects. It was very clear that the makers wanted to mount the film on a global scale.

Film to cater to global audiences

“Allu Arjun and Atlee visited dynamic and innovative design and fabrication studios which specialized in cinematic creature effects, prosthetic makeup, state-of-the-art animatronics. The duo also met the staff of a virtual production tools manufacturer serving film creators, game designers, and VR developers. These suggest that the film has been planned to cater to the global audiences. And initiating talks with Hollywood’s marketing agency is a step in that direction. The film’s script has universal appeal, so the potential of content appealing to global audiences is high and the makers do not want to leave anything to chance. Giving an Indian film a Hollywood makeover is part of the strategy to further bring visibility to the film in the West. The makers are planning to give a massive and immersive experience to the audiences, and teaming up with a global marketing agency will be a shot in the arm for the film unit.
