3 Women Arrested

Hyderabad, July 10: In a shocking incident in Kishanbagh, three women were arrested for allegedly attacking and killing a woman during a domestic altercation. The incident occurred in the Bahadurpura police limits and resulted in the death of 55-year-old Mahboob Bee.

According to M.A. Jaweed, ACP Falaknuma, the accused – Amreen Begum (27), Ameena Begum (27), and Baby Begum (28) – all residents of Kishanbagh, forcibly entered the house of Shaheda Begum and initially assaulted her daughter. When Mahboob Bee intervened to protect them, the trio turned their aggression toward her.

“In the course of the quarrel, Amreen, Ameena, and Baby hit Mahboob Bee with a wooden stick, resulting in severe injuries. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries,” the ACP said.

Following the incident, a case was registered under relevant sections of the IPC, and an investigation was launched.

All three accused were taken into custody on Thursday and produced before a local court, which remanded them to judicial custody.

The women have been shifted to the Special Prison for Women in Chanchalguda.

Police said further investigation is underway to determine the exact motive and sequence of events that led to the fatal assault.
