Notorious Criminal

Hyderabad, July 7, 2025: The Golconda Police have apprehended a notorious repeat offender in connection with a burglary that took place in Naya Qila, Hyderabad, on the night of June 29–30, 2025. The swift action came after Ameer Khatoon, a resident of Naya Qila, lodged a complaint regarding the theft of ₹70,000 in cash, along with a gold ring and gold earrings, bringing the total stolen property to around ₹80,000.

Following the complaint, the Golconda Police under the Tolichowki Division launched an investigation and managed to nab the accused the very next day—July 7, 2025—at Jamali Darwaza, while he was in possession of burglary tools.

Occupation: Tin shed worker
Residence: Kattelmandi, Abids, Hyderabad

Criminal History:

Mohammed Mujahid Qureshi is no stranger to crime. His criminal record includes six prior cases registered across various police stations:

Golconda PS: 2 cases (including the latest)
Saifabad PS: 1 robbery case (Cr. No. 258/2026)
Moghulpura PS: 2 burglary cases (registered in 2018)
Shivaji Nagar, Maharashtra: Involved in a murder case in 2019 (details under verification)

The suspect has now been remanded to judicial custody. The Golconda Police reiterated their commitment to maintaining law and order, assuring the public that repeat offenders will be tracked, arrested, and brought to justice swiftly.
