Foreign Nationals Deported
Hyderabad: In a major crackdown, the Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) arrested four foreign nationals involved in drug peddling activities across Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The accused—two Nigerians, one Tanzanian, and one Sudanese—were found to be overstaying in India and have now been deported to their respective countries.
The arrested individuals have been identified as:
-
Maxwell Anthony Izuchukwu (29), Nigeria
-
Chinaza Nnanna Vivian alias Ibrahim Niasha (38), Nigeria
-
Mwajuma Almasi Masisila (38), Tanzania
-
Ahmed Hamid Abujabr Hamid (27), Sudan
According to officials, the accused entered India using tourist, student, or medical visas, but continued to stay illegally after their visas expired. Authorities confirmed that their names have now been blacklisted, permanently barring them from re-entering India.

The arrests are part of an ongoing effort by H-NEW to dismantle drug supply networks involving foreign nationals. Police investigations revealed that the accused were actively operating in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, distributing narcotics through a network of local and international contacts.
The Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing has urged the public to avoid substance abuse and report any suspicious activity. For assistance or information, citizens can contact the anti-drug helpline at 8712661601.
“We are committed to ensuring Hyderabad remains drug-free. Those involved in such illegal activities—whether Indian or foreign—will face strict legal action,” a senior official said.
