Hyderabad, July 3: A massive fire broke out in a residence at Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Sanathnagar, on Thursday morning after a refrigerator reportedly exploded due to a gas leak. The incident took place at the home of a man named Satyanarayana.

The explosion sparked a blaze that gutted the interiors of the house, reducing home appliances and other belongings to ashes. Fortunately, no occupants were present inside the house at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.

HYDRAA fire brigade units responded swiftly to the emergency and successfully doused the flames before they could spread further or cause harm to nearby residences.

Sanathnagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav visited the site shortly after the fire was brought under control and met with the victim’s family to extend support.

Authorities have begun investigating the exact cause of the refrigerator blast. More details are expected as the situation develops.
