A compelling new biopic, “Ajey – The Untold Story of a Yogi”, is all set to hit the silver screen on August 1, and its first teaser has just dropped, stirring anticipation and conversation across the country.

The film, presented by Samrat Cinematics, offers a dramatized retelling of the spiritual and political journey of a Yogi, and is inspired by the definitive biography of Yogi Adityanath written by Shantanu Gupta. The teaser opens with a powerful line: “Baba aate nahin… prakat hote hain… aur unke prakat hone ka samay aa gaya hai!” — hinting at a larger-than-life entry of the central character.

Starring Anant Joshi, Paresh Rawal, and Nirahua (Dinesh Lal Yadav), the film is directed by Ravindra Gautam and produced by Ritu Mengi. The film explores the transformation of a man into a monk and eventually into a political force, portraying pivotal moments in his spiritual evolution and societal impact.

Ajey boasts an impressive crew, including music and background score by Meet Bros, lyrics by noted writers like Kumaar, Jashar Singh, and Sangita Singh, and high-quality visual production with DI by Futureworks Media and VFX by The VFX Co. and Reflection Pictures Studio.

The writing team includes Dilip Bachchan Jha and Priyank Dubey, with editing by Manan Sagar and cinematography by Vishnu Rao. Known names like Anti-Casting have handled casting, while the marketing and promotional strategy is led by MA+TH (Marching Ants + Trigger Happy) and White Rivers Media.

Co-producers Srikanth Pagadala, Suuraj Singh (B-Live), and Shweta Rao Duggu (Itihasa Academy) bring added depth and experience to the film’s production scale.

With rich storytelling, powerful visuals, and an emotionally charged narrative, “Ajey – The Untold Story of a Yogi” promises to be a unique cinematic experience combining biography, devotion, and drama.

Distributed worldwide by AA Films, the film is poised to be one of the most talked-about releases of the year when it hits cinemas on August 1, 2025.
