Paras Chhabra slams media
In a video doing the rounds on social media, a reporter was seen chasing Paras as he arrived for the funeral. Asked how he was coping with the loss, Paras lashed out at the paparazzi, referring to a particular news report that, in his view, had crossed the line.
The report that Paras questioned was about Shefali`s husband, Parag Tyagi taking the couple`s pet dog Simba for a walk shortly after the actress`s demise. It led to a lot of trolling with some subtly implying a lack of grief or emotional response.
Reacting strongly, Paras said,”Yeh subhe waali news bohot hi bekar news hai. Yeh jo kutto-wali news hai, ki kutte ko leke ghuma raha hain subha subha — kya kare phir banda? Bohot hi bekar news karte ho aap log. Aur bolna kya hai?(That morning news piece was really ridiculous. This whole ‘dog-walking’ news — that he was out walking the dog early in the morning — what else is a person supposed to do? You people put out such pointless news. What more can I even say?)”
When a journalist replied, “Kaam kar rahe gain (We are doing our work),” Paras retorted, “Haan, negative news laa rahe hai aap log (Yes, you are bringing negative news).”
Did Paras Chhabra predict Shefali`s demise?
An old video of Paras Chhabra predicting Shefali`s future has gone viral on social media. Shefali had appeared as a guest on Paras`s podcast, where he gave her an astrological reading.
“Aapke 8th house mein Chandra, Budh aur Ketu baithe huye hain. Chandra aur Ketu ka combination sabse bura hota hai. The 8th house also indicates loss, sudden death, fame, hidden mysteries, and tantric-related things, too. Aapke liye Chandra aur Ketu ka bura toh hai hi, aur saath mein baith gaya hai Budh. This indicates anxiety and neurological problems,” he said.
In the same conversation, Shefali confirmed that she had suffered from epilepsy as a teenager. The actress shared that she had her first epileptic seizure at the age of 15 and had been “20 years epilepsy-free” thanks to her consistent treatment, lifestyle changes, and meditation.
