RRP S4E Innovation, a fast-growing electro-optics company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Optix Bulgaria, a global leader in advanced electro-optics solutions.
The pact will pave the way for the Transfer of Technology for a new generation of cutting-edge defence products, including ultra lightweight thermal sights, extended long-range surveillance systems, and handheld thermal imagers.
Optix Bulgaria brings deep expertise, having mastered all its product offerings through in-house R&D. Its innovations are battle-tested and globally respected.
With this collaboration, the companies aim to introduce advanced thermal technologies never deployed in the field — offering high performance at a competitive cost.
Over 300 thermal sights are already deployed at strategic locations, with Optix’s flagship product ‘Diana’ recognised as a game-changer in electro-optics.
These innovations will now be adapted for Indian needs, providing practical, frontline solutions to real battlefield challenges.
Georgy Kosturkov, CEO of Optix Bulgaria, said the company’s technologies and RRP’s deep understanding of the Indian defence ecosystem create an encouraging combination with unmatched potential.
Since its inception in 2018, RRP S4E Innovation has committed itself to developing products that meet the standards of the Make in India initiative. Early on, supported by the Maharashtra Defence and Aerospace Venture Fund, under the leadership of Vice President Amey Belorkar, RRP quickly established a robust infrastructure, enabling MSMEs and entrepreneurs to scale up bold ideas.
Rajendra Chodankar, Founder and Chairman, RRP S4E Innovation said the company currently holds four patents and rapidly growing product line.
The partnership with Optix Bulgaria opens doors to mega opportunities that transcend borders, he said.
With projections of exponential year-on-year growth, the company is confidently eyeing the ₹500 crore milestone in the near future.
