Zayed Khan’s Eid al-Adha celebration is all about family, faith, and love

Actor Zayed Khan, synonymous with celebrating life as it comes, enjoyed yet another celebration, the holy Eid al-Adha, also known as Bakrid, in the most heartwarming way possible, surrounded by his closest family members and dear friends. The actor took to social media to share glimpses of his intimate Eid gathering, which included his wife Malaika, sons Zidaan and Ariz, and his parents, veteran actor Sanjay Khan and mother Zarine Khan. The family celebration was made even more special with the presence of renowned ghazal singer Talat Aziz and his wife Bina Aziz, who joined the Khan family for this joyous occasion.

Zayed, in a rather touching social media post, penned, “Eid Mubarak, people, may light, love, happiness, and all the sacrifices you make for your home come true with abundance. Be as charitable as possible . Love and gratitude. #eidmubarak #love #family #prayer #gratitude 🤜🤛🤲💪😊🫵❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤” His words perfectly captured the essence of togetherness and gratitude that defines the spirit of Eid.

The Khan family, often known and appreciated for their close and strong family bonds, once again re-iterated that they take the words `Khan`daan very seriously. The pictures also showcased multiple generations of Zayed`s family coming together to celebrate the holy festival. Zayed`s emphasis on charity and gratitude in his message resonated with the true spirit of Eid, making it a celebration that was both personal and meaningful.

Zayed Khan on 21 years of Main Hoo Na

Zayed Khan is known for a range of roles throughout his career, but one continues to define his legacy — Lucky, also known as Laxman, from Main Hoon Na. At the time of the film’s release, his transformation arc, effortless charm, and signature hairstyle became instant sensations. Today, even as a devoted father to two sons, Zidaan and Ariz, Zayed Khan continues to carry the heartthrob status with ease.

Now, 21 years later, Zayed’s looking back and feeling all the feels. “Lucky was the turning point. People still come up to me calling me ‘Lucky’ or ‘Laxman’, doing the swag walk, quoting those dialogues… it’s wild in the best way,” he shared.

He called working with Shah Rukh Khan and director Farah Khan nothing short of a filmmaking masterclass. And let’s not forget the fashion impact — the highlighted hair, the vests, the baggy pants — Lucky’s style had its own fan base.

Two decades later, Zayed says no matter where life or cinema takes him, Lucky will always be that role. “It wasn’t just my debut. It was how I got into people’s hearts. And 21 years later, I’m still riding that wave of love. May it never stop.”

On the work front, Zayed, has been in the news for all the buzz surrounding his next release. Titled `The Film That Never Was`, the movie also marks Zayed`s digital debut.
