Anudi Gunasekara is a top-tier model from Sri Lanka. She won the 2024 Miss World Sri Lanka beauty pageant. Currently in Hyderabad attending the Miss World 2025 pageant, she was asked about which Tollywood actor she would like to team up with if she had a chance.
Pat came the reply that she would like to act opposite Vijay Deverakonda.
Incidentally, Vijay’s upcoming movie is partly set in the country from which Anudi Gunasekara hails. Kingdom’s story unfolds in Sri Lanka, where Vijay’s character turns into a rebel (reportedly). In March of this year, the Arjun Reddy actor filmed for Kingdom for four weeks. Kingdom heads to theatres on July 4.
Anudi Gunasekara is also a social activist. “Her Beauty with a Purpose project entitled Saheli aims to alleviate period poverty in Sri Lanka,” a report says.
