Odela 2, starring Tamannaah Bhatia in the role of a Naga Sadhu named Bhairavi aka Shiva Shakti, was released in theatres on April 17th. Despite tall claims made by its producer-writer Sampath Nandi, the film didn’t turn out to be a hit. If anything, it was a flop.
The supernatural action thriller set in a haunted village named Odela is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Odela 2 is directed by Ashok Teja. Starring Vasisshta Simha in the role of a ghost who is after newly-married women, Odela 2 became the butt of ridicule owing to its poor VFX and a forced lead up to Odela 3. Sampath Nandi gave a ridiculous explanation to the stupid epilogue after the movie’s release, saying that nowhere does the film conclusively say that Lord Shiva vanquished the antagonist. If you have patience for a story that has no proper closure, you may want to suffer Odela 2 on Prime Video.
Odela 2 has music by Ajaneesh B Loknath. Murali Sharma and Hebap Patel are part of the cast. Â
