Babloo Prithiveeraj is increasingly doing more and more Telugu movies. He was seen as Pankaj Panday in the Sankranthi blockbuster, Sankranthiki Vasthunam. He also shared screen space with Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya in Thandel.
The actor, who gained greater visibility because of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal in 2023, will next be seen in a prominent role in Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi. Starring Nandamuri Kalyanram and Vijayashanthi as a son-mother duo, the film will hit the cinemas in April or May.
Babloo Prithveeraj, who shot to fame in the 1990s in Telugu with Kodi Ramakrishna’s Pelli, was seen in two of Balakrishna’s noteworthy movies: Samara Simha Reddy and Chennakesava Reddy. Maa Oori Polimera 2, released in 2023 before Animal did, had him in a role but it didn’t give him much traction. Hope Babloo has a well-written part in Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi. Going by the film’s Teaser, he plays a cop in the action entertainer.
