The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Wednesday issued a public appeal seeking photographs, videos, and any information related to the April 22 terror attack on tourists in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pahalgam that left 26 dead and several injured.
In a statement released through its official website and social media handles, the NIA requested all tourists, locals, and visitors who were in or around Pahalgam during the time of the attack to come forward with any evidence—deliberately or inadvertently captured—that could aid the investigation.
The agency has provided two contact numbers for the public: mobile 9654958816 and landline 011-24368800. Individuals sharing information are encouraged to provide their personal details, following which a senior NIA official will coordinate the secure transfer of evidence such as photos or videos.

The NIA has already collected a large volume of visual material and continues to analyse it for potential leads. Several visuals believed to be related to the attack have surfaced on social media platforms. The agency aims to scrutinise not only these but also any additional material still in private possession that could yield further insights into the perpetrators and their methods.
NIA teams have been stationed in Pahalgam since the incident, combing through the site for forensic evidence and conducting witness interviews. The attack marks one of the deadliest targeted assaults on civilians in Kashmir in recent years.
