Mumbai-based conglomerate Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is setting ambitious targets for its logistics arm, Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL), forecasting a threefold increase in revenue by FY30. From ₹6,100 crore in FY25, the company aims to scale its logistics business to nearly ₹18,000 crore over the next five years. This growth trajectory marks a significant leap from the ₹3,500 crore revenue it posted in FY20.
The company’s roadmap for aggressive growth was outlined during a post-results media briefing on Monday. Executives emphasized MLL’s expanding role in India’s logistics ecosystem, underpinned by a strategic shift and leadership overhaul.
In April, Mahindra Logistics appointed Hemant Sikka as the new Managing Director and CEO, following the resignation of Ram Swaminathan. Sikka, who previously led M&M’s Farm Equipment Sector within its Auto & Farm Sector since April 2020, is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the 3PL major’s operations and strategy.
Mahindra Logistics has already laid out its short-term vision. In its Q4FY25 investor presentation, the company stated its goal to become a ₹10,000 crore logistics service provider by FY26. The company currently operates across multiple segments including contract logistics, B2B express, last-mile delivery, and freight forwarding.
While revenues are climbing steadily, profitability remains elusive. Mahindra Logistics posted a consolidated revenue of ₹6,104.8 crore in FY25, up from ₹5,506 crore in FY24. However, the company recorded a net loss of ₹35.9 crore in FY25, narrowing slightly from a ₹54.7 crore loss in FY24.
Despite the losses, Mahindra Logistics remains one of India’s prominent integrated third-party logistics providers, known for its asset-light model. It services more than 400 corporate clients across sectors such as automobiles, engineering, consumer goods, and e-commerce, delivering supply chain and mobility solutions.
