
Up-and-coming actor Rohit Basfore, who worked in the currently under-production third season of the hit streaming series The Family Man, was reportedly found dead in the Garbhanga waterfall near Guwahati, Assam, on Sunday afternoon. Rohit Basfor, a resident of Guwahati, was a martial arts and gymnastics coach by profession and has been part of the shoot for the upcoming season 3 of the web series The Family Man.
According to police, they were alerted of his death at around 4 pm on Sunday. “We received information about a drowning accident in Jalukpham waterfall, Rani. Our team immediately reached the spot and started search and rescue operations with deep divers. After searching the place, the victim was finally recovered successfully by our time and the victim’s body was handed over to Rani police station,” said an official from the fire and emergency serices.

“The death was caused by drowning, and we will wait for the post-mortem report for further details for investigation,” said a police official from the Kamrup district.
The Family Man, a spy action thriller created by Raj & DK, is one of the most successful Indian original streaming series. Featuring Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani and Ashlesha Thakur in the lead roles, two seasons of the show have aired so far. The production of the third season is currently underway. While the first edition featured Neeraj Madhav as the main villain, Samantha Ruth Prabhu played an antagonistic character in season two. Renowned actor Jaideep Ahlawat depicts a key role in the third edition of the show.
