
At 42.1 degrees Celsius, Delhi on Saturday recorded its highest day temperature in April in last three years, the IMD said.
The last time a higher temperature was recorded was in 2022, when the maximum had reached 43.5 degrees Celsius. The night temperature settled at 20.7 degrees Celsius.
The Ridge, meanwhile, recorded a high of 43 degrees Celsius. Some respite was felt in the evening as the city experienced cool winds and a partly cloudy sky. The IMD has forecast partly cloudy sky with gusty winds on Sunday.
