
PM Modi Saudi Arabia Visit Today LIVE Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for his two-day visit to Saudi Arabia on Monday morning. Ahead of his flight to Jeddah, he lauded the long and historic ties between the two nations country, asserting that their relations have acquired a strategic depth and momentum in recent years. The visit is considered to a higher priority for the Middle East country in India’s foreign policy strategy.
PM Modi’s 2-day schedule in Jeddah: Modi will also be participating in the second meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council during his third visit to Saudi over the last 10 years. In his departure statement, he added that he is looking forward to build upon the “highly successful State visit” of Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman (MbS) to India in 2023. He is expected to interact with the Indian community in the city.
What his departure statement said: “India deeply values its long and historic ties with Saudi Arabia that have acquired strategic depth and momentum in recent years. Together, we have developed a mutually beneficial and substantive partnership including in the domains of defence, trade, investment, energy and people to people ties. We have shared interest and commitment to promote regional peace, prosperity, security and stability,” Modi wrote on Monday.
