Manoj Muntashir slams Anurag Kashyap for his remark against Brahmin community: ‘You don’t have it in you to pollute even an inch of the Brahmin legacy’ | Bollywood News

Anurag Kashyap has once again found himself at the center of controversyy. After he expressed his frustration over the delay in the Hindi film Phule’s release and made comments against the Brahmin community, writer-lyricist Manoj Muntashir has now hit back. In a video, Muntashir went on to list the prominent members of the Brahmin community.

The writer-lyricist said, “If your income is less, restrain your expenses, and if your information is less, restrain your words – Anurag Kashyap, both your income and information are limited. You do not have it in you to pollute even an inch of the Brahmin legacy- however, as you have expressed your desire, I would like to send some photographs to your house- then you decide on whom you want to spill your dirty water on (urinate on)”.

He added, “Countless haters like you will end before the glorious legacy of the Brahmins. I, a Brahmin give you an open challenge- pick one name from the 21 names given by me, and I will be sure to send you the photograph, and if you do not have it in you to act on your words, better learn to stay in your limits.”

The controversy erupted after the CBFC asked the makers of Phule to introduce cuts in the film after the Brahmin community objected to the movie’s portrayal of the community. Anurag Kashyap then took to social media to point out the hypocrisy of the Brahmin community and the CBFC for delaying the release of the film. He also responded to one of the comments that read, “Brahmins are your father. The more you are jealous of them, the more you will burn.” In response to this comment, Anurag wrote, “Brahmin pe main m*******a..koi problem (I’ll pee on the Brahmins…any problem)?”

Anurag Kashyap’s comment didn’t go down well with Manoj Muntashir, who then shared a video to address the same. For the unversed, Phule is a film starring Pratik Gandhi as Jyotirao Phule and Patralekhaa as Savitribai Phule, showcasing the revolutionary contributions against caste discrimination of the two social reformers.
