Kesari 2 Box Office Collection Day 2:Â Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday starrer historical courtroom drama Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story Of Jallianwala Bagh had a humble start at the box office, earning Rs 7.75 crore on Friday. On Saturday, the film saw a spike in its collections; however, its earnings remained in single digits. On April 19, the Akshay starrer collected Rs 9.50 crore. Its total collection in India after two days stands at Rs 17.25 crore.
Considering how many recent films have faced a tough time at the box office, Kesari 2 has had a decent start. However, the film did not perform as well as the 2019 film Kesari. But Kesari 2’s collections on its first two days are still on par with Sunny Deol’s Jaat.

On Saturday, Kesari Chapter 2 recorded an overall occupancy of 25.78 percent across 3,723 shows nationwide. Chennai registered the highest occupancy at 56 per cent from 45 shows, while Bengaluru followed closely with 43.25 per cent across 246 shows. In Hyderabad, Akshay Kumar’s film saw an occupancy of 37.75 per cent from 147 shows. Mumbai recorded a 22.50 per cent occupancy from 749 shows, whereas in Delhi-NCR, the film registered 29.25 per cent across 899 shows.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape Of Good Films, Kesari Chapter 2 also stars Ananya Panday, R Madhavan, Regina Cassandra, and Alexx O’Nell in important roles.
