Re-release with 4K resolution prints have become the order of the day ever since films like Kushi, Okkadu and Pokiri became money-spinners in recent years. This Summer, at least five re-releases are coming up.
The re-release blitz kicks off on April 18th. Mahesh Babu’s Okkadu is in for the fifth time! Ravi Teja’s Naa Autograph, which didn’t perform that well upon its original release in 2005, is also up for re-release this Friday.
The political action thriller Bharat Ane Nenu is scheduled for release on April 26th. The film will compete with straight releases like Priyadarshi’s Sarangapani Jathakam.
Moving into May, the fantasy action entertainer Yama Donga is set to hit theaters on May 18th. It stars Jr NTR and Mohan Babu in leading roles. The film is directed by SS Rajamouli.
Prabhas’ Varsham, known for its DSP music and chemistry, will be re-released on May 23rd. The romantic action drama was directed by late Sobhan.
