Anupama Parameswaran and Dhruv Vikram could well be masters of publicity stunts. Ahead of the release of their Tamil-language movie Bison, the duo is in the news over allegedly being dating partners. Dhruv is the son of Chiyaan Vikram.
It all began with a pic of a couple kissing each other intimately surfacing online. The couple resembles Anupama and Dhruv. The pic was removed from the Spotify playlist on which it was seen.
It is more than evident that the pic was strategically posted and deleted as a publicity stunt. Nobody posts such pics erroneously.
It’s a time-tested marketing strategy to make onscreen pairs of movies come across as a real-life couple. For a couple of years, many believed that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were playing precisely this PR gimmick. It’s another matter that they were indeed in love and eventually got married. But, most of the time, that’s not the case.
Recently seen in the Tamil blockbuster Dragon, Anupama was last year seen in the Telugu blockbuster Tillu Square. She is also doing Paradha in Telugu. The film will hit the cinemas soon. Bison is an action thriller directed by Mari Selvaraj.
