Iru Kanulu Kanulu captures Ilaiyaraaja’s vintage style

Iru Kanulu Kanulu, the second song from Shashtipoorthi, is out. Crooned soulfully by SP Charan and Vibhavari Apte Joshi, the song features romantic lines by Rehman.

Maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s composition is imbued with his vintage style. The dance choreography is slow-paced, focusing on the lead pair’s chemistry rather than cinematic moves. Shot on Rupeysh and Aakanksha Singh, the song is a throwback to the Maestro’s classic music.

Ravi Teja, who awaits the release of Mass Jathara, shared the song. He stated that the song is beautiful. “This is a feel-good family entertainer,” he added. The quality of music on display has the Mass Maharaja rooting for the movie.

The film features Rajendra Prasad in a starring role. Produced by Maa Aaie Productions, its release date will be locked soon.

Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad feels that the film is best watched with one’s parents, grandparents and children. As per him, Shashtipoorthi is as special as Aa Naluguru, the classic from the year 2005. Twenty years later, his filmography might relive a similar magical moment.
