UPSIDA signs MoU with IIT-BHU | Lucknow News

The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

The agreement pertains to the development of Pharma Parks in Lalitpur district in the Bundelkhand region. As part of this project, pharmaceutical industries will be established across 1,472 acres of land spanning five villages—Saidpur (426 acres), Gadolikala (249 acres), Largan (239 acres), Karonda (116 acres), and Rampur (441 acres).

The Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology (DOPET) at IIT (BHU), Varanasi, will be a key knowledge and technology partner in this initiative. Companies operating within the Pharma Parks will benefit from DOPET’s research, access to skilled human resources, and innovative technological solutions.
