Royal Enfield Announces HunterHood Street Culture Festival

Royal Enfield has announced HunterHood, a street culture festival set to take place simultaneously in Mumbai and New Delhi on April 26, 2025. The event will be held at the Richardson & Cruddas complex in Mumbai and DLF Avenue Saket in New Delhi.

The festival aims to showcase various elements of street culture including art, music, dance, skateboarding and fashion. According to the company, the event is designed to bring together diverse communities that share the streets as their creative space.

HunterHood is conceptually linked to Royal Enfield’s Hunter 350 motorcycle, which targets urban riders with its design focusing on agility and maneuverability in city environments. The motorcycle has gained popularity among younger riders navigating urban settings.

The festival will feature live music and DJ performances from local artists, street art installations, independent streetwear brand displays, and skateboarding and dance showcases. Organizers emphasize that the event is intended to be participatory rather than merely observational.

Royal Enfield describes the festival as “a street-led platform for the communities that live and breathe the streets” with a focus on authentic expression rather than a curated, exclusive experience.

The company, which traces its origins to 1901, established manufacturing in India in 1955 and has since become a significant player in the country’s mid-sized motorcycle segment. Royal Enfield currently offers multiple motorcycle models including the Bear 650, Classic 650, Guerrilla 450, Hunter 350, Meteor 350, Super Meteor 650, Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Shotgun 650, Himalayan, Scram 440, Bullet 350, Classic 350, and Goan Classic 350.

Royal Enfield has recently expanded into the electric vehicle market with the introduction of a city-focused brand called Flying Flea. The company operates through more than 2,000 stores across India and approximately 850 stores in over 60 countries worldwide, with technical centers in the UK and India and production facilities near Chennai.

The motorcycle manufacturer regularly organizes community events, with Motoverse (formerly Rider Mania) in Goa and the Himalayan Odyssey being its most notable gatherings.
