1. Kareena Kapoor’s son Taimur making a Lego Ganpati 

 
Back in 2020 when we couldn’t celebrate Ganpati out and about with the same enthusiasm as usual, Kareena’s son Taimur found the cutest and a rather creative way to honour the Ganesha idol. To keep the festive spirit alive, Taimur created his own Ganesha idol out of Lego assembling the colourful pieces together. What makes the effort even more adorable is how Taimur placed three figurines in front of the idol symbolizing himself and his parents. Kareena shared the picture on social media of Taimur seated with joined hands alongside his idol.  

2. Madhuri Dixit’s special recipe of Modaks 

One of the most special aspects of Ganesh Chaturthi – one that everybody so dearly waits for- is savouring the delicious Modaks. And Madhuri Dixit, being a Maharashtrian herself, is a fan of the dish too. In a video shared online, the actress was seen making Modaks herself. What made the process even more special is that the actress followed her grandmother’s recipe. She was accompanied by her husband Dr. Shri Ram Nene in the kitchen and the two ended the activity by tasting the Modaks together. Madhuri’s reaction to having just one bite is sure to tell you how heavenly they taste! 

3. Sharvari’s heirloom saree tradition

Sharvari celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi along with her family at her ancestral home. Last year the actress shared a glimpse into her celebrations posting few pictures with her mother and sister online. Sharvari was seen dressed in a beautiful Kanjivaram saree. Well, it wasn’t any saree, it was one passed on by her grandmother to her mother and now to her. Keeping such rituals alive is truly what makes Ganesh Chaturthi everyone’s favorite of all festivals.  

4. Riteish Deshmukh making eco-friendly Ganpati with his sons 

Keeping the Deshmukh household ritual alive in a sustainable way, Riteish Deshmukh had shared a heartfelt video and message last year that won many praises on social media. In the video, Ritesh was seen making Ganesha idols from clay along with his sons. The actor was seen carefully guiding the kids. It surely is a sacred ritual to bring Bappa to life with your own hands and seeing Riteish pass on the tradition was heartwarming to many. 

5. Salman Khan performing Aarti with his niece

Ganpati celebrations at Salman Khan’s are grand and full of energy. As is evident in the multiple videos that surface online, Salman khan with his entire family is always seen dancing joyously to the beats of Dhol during Visarjan. However, this particular video of Salman Khan performing the aarti and helping his niece Ayat hold the plate made many fans gush over the sweet moment. It showed a rare, caring and tender side of Salman.
