Telangana: Media baron Ch Ramoji Rao no more

Media baron Ch. Ramoji Rao passed away in early hours of Saturday in Hyderabad. He was on ventillator support in a private hospital in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: Media baron and Chairman of Eenadu group, Ch. Rama Rao is no more.

Ramoji Rao who suffered from a heart episode in the early hours of Friday and was rushed to Star Hospitals in Nanakaramguda. He was put on ventillator support, but he passed away on Saturday morning.

His body is being shifted to Ramoji Film City (RFC).

Ramoji Rao is a pioneer in Telugu media field. He launched the most popular Telugu daily Eenadu which blazed a trail in vernacular journalism in undivided Andhra Pradesh.

Known for his pioneering ways he changed course of journalism in Telugu states by standardising the language, newspaper production, early delivery of the newspaper. He later started television channels too.
