Special Trains from AP and Telangana to Ayodhya for Ram Mandir Opening Ceremony

In anticipation of a surge in devotees heading to Ayodhya for the grand opening ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, the South Central Railway has revealed plans to operate special trains from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. With the inauguration of the temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram just around the corner, railway authorities are gearing up for increased passenger traffic.

The South Central Railway has strategically planned special trains that will operate from key stations in both Telugu states. Departures will include Secunderabad and Kazipet railway stations in Telangana, as well as Vijayawada, Guntur, Rajamahendravaram, and Samarlakota stations in Andhra Pradesh.

The Secunderabad – Ayodhya special trains will take a route via Janagama, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, and Manchiryala. Meanwhile, Ayodhya-bound trains departing from Vijayawada will pass through Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajamahendravaram, Anaparthi, Samarlakota, Annavaram, Tuni, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram, and Srikakulam road railway stations.

The schedule for the Secunderabad – Ayodhya special trains is as follows: departures from Secunderabad will take place at 4.45 pm on January 29, 31, February 2, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, and 25. On the other hand, Kazipet to Ayodhya trains will depart at 6.20 pm on January 30, February 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, and 28. The return journey to Kazipet from Ayodhya is also included in the schedule.

Furthermore, special trains from Vijayawada, Guntur, Rajamahendravaram, and Samarlakota to Ayodhya are set to depart on February 4, January 31, February 7, and February 11, respectively. The South Central Railway has assured passengers that return journeys to the respective stations will be facilitated after the Ayodhya visit.

With these special trains, the railway department aims to provide a convenient and efficient means of transportation for devotees traveling to Ayodhya to witness the historic opening ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
