After a fantastic theatrical run, Teja Sajja’s recent release Mirai is now gearing up for OTT release. All those who missed out catching up with the film in theatres can redeem their excitement on the small screens. Mirai is all geared for a digital release on October 10, 2025. The film’s OTT partner JioHotstar has confirmed the development on their social media handle. “Nine scriptures. Infinite power. One Superyodha to protect the Brahmand. #Mirai , India’s own superhero, is coming to your home, Streaming from October 10,” read the post.

Mirai, a superhero fantasy drama, released on September 12, got a thunderous response from the theatres. Apart from Teja Sajja’s terrific performance, the adventure thriller was also hailed for director Karthik Ghattamaneni’s unique story and concept. The film’s VFX won special appreciation too. And within four weeks of its theatrical debut, Mirai is heading for an OTT release. JioHotstar, which holds the streaming rights, has officially announced the premiere date. The film will begin streaming from October 10 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam & Kannada – exactly four weeks (28 days) after its theatrical release.

Mirai box office performance

Mirai took rapid box office strides in Telugu and overseas from day 1. After almost nearing its theatrical run, the Teja Sajja-starrer amassed around Rs 135 crore gross at the worldwide box office and emerged as the 4th highest-grossing film of 2025. Although the makers expected it to create a sensation in the Hindi market, the impact was minimal. The blockbuster success of Mirai strengthened the actor’s place in Tollywood apart from winning the trade’s confidence. After the blockbuster HanuMan, many hailed Mirai as Teja Sajja’s ideal box office follow up. He became one of the hot favourites in the tinsel town and has emerged as the poster boy set for higher honours.
