Sanjay Khan’s daughter Farah Khan Ali has opened up about facing insensitivity from the paparazzi during mother Zarine Khan’s cremation. Taking to social media, she expressed concerns the way paparazzi behaved with Dharmendra’s family and also slammed them for their hurtful coverage of her mother’s demise.

Her statement comes a day after Sunny Deol lost his cool on paparazzi standing outside his home. Another private video of his family went viral on social media, which had netizens and celebrities questioning the paparazzi culture online. In her statement, Farah wrote, “My mother passed away 6 days ago and there were some here who were more interested in why she chose to be cremated instead of giving condolences.”
She added, “Dharam uncle is in hospital and a video of his family goes viral… Are we as a nation so insensitive to people? Don’t public figures also have families that have feelings? What happened to humanity? Why does every imbecile out here have an opinion on how others should lead their lives? Tragedy strikes all.”
Expressing her disappointment, Farah also said, “When it’s your turn, and trust me it will be, there will be others like you hurting you like you hurt us.”
Not just Sunny and Farah, Karan Johar, Nikitin Dheer, Ameesha Patel, Madhur Bhandarkar and more also condemned the paparazzi for their behaviour. Recently, veteran actress Jaya Bachchan also lost her cool on the paps who passed comments as she walked by.
Taking to social media, Karan Johar wrote, “When basic courtesy and sensitivity leaves our hearts and our actions we know we are a doomed race. PLEASE leave a family alone!!!! They are already emotionally combatting so much…. It’s heartbreaking to see a paparazzi and media circus for a living legend who has contributed so massively to our cinema… this is not coverage it’s DISRESPECT.”
